A native of the Pacific Northwest, Jennifer has been a lifelong student of dance, fitness and body integration techniques. Her university training includes attending the prestigious Bellas Artes and LA UNAM-in Mexico, and Hofstra University, Marymount Manhattan College, Steps & Broadway Dance Center in New York. She holds advanced fitness certificates and training in all traditional dance genres as well as multicultural genres including: African, Latin, Mexican Folklorico, Irish, Capoeira and Asian.
At the beginning of her professional career Jennifer toured as a principle dancer with the modern dance company, Donna Sternberg & Dancers, during which time she was featured in dance magazine. She also danced as a guest artist with Marvin Tunney, Ralph Glenmore, Project 21, Denise Leitner, Reggie Brown, Jasmine Guy, and others. Performing in commercials, music videos, theater, and in concerts, Jennifer has appeared on stage with: Tony Bennett, Nawang Khechog, Rickie Byars Beckwith, and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Karen Taylor Good, to name a few.
Jennifer married her soul mate, Mexican actor Jorge Jimenez, and when their daughter Allegria was born the 50-hour labor was life changing, and sparked Jennifer’s “true calling.” This lead her to earning a NIA certification, and mastering techniques in: somatics, dance therapy, breath-work, and energy medicine. These cutting edge techniques can be found in her CD’s and most recently in her new DVD called “Prenatal Dance Fitness,” which can be found on Target.com in the Fall of 09′. Jennifer received her pre & postnatal fitness certification from “Dancing Thru Pregnancy®,” with Anne Cowlin, movement specialist at Yale University.
Aside from presenting at major conferences Jennifer has taught specialty workshops and weekly classes in modern dance, healing movement, pre & postnatal dance fitness and cardio dance at Health Clubs, YMCA’s, Yoga Centers, and Dance Studios in Oregon, Mexico, LA & NYC.
A yearly highlight for Jennifer is presenting at annual women’s retreats and women’s events including: Women’s Arts Festivals, Mom Expos, The Pump Station and Nurtury™’, Benefit Concerts, Step Up Women’s Network™, and others.
“Dance Ministry” has been a part of Jennifer’s life and love for over a decade. She served as resident choreographer and dance ministry director for The Living Enrichment Center for 4 years. As a guest performer and choreographer she has served on the leadership committees for: The AGAPE International Spiritual Center, Saint Monica’s Parrish, The Sacred Dance Guild, and many other churches across America. A special honor was being appointed by “The Association For Global New Thought” to perform, teach, and coordinate the exercise and movement programs for several of their annual conferences.
Known for her charitable life-style you will often find Jennifer volunteering for: inner city kids, Free Arts for Abused Children, women in a prisons, hospitals, senior citizen homes, and therapy clinics. She has been highly applauded by the communities that have been fortunate enough to be the recipients of her time and talent.

Jennifer feels her greatest accomplishments are having a happy and successful marriage and her 3 beautiful children.
